Explore your true, spiritual nature?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>I was drawn to the physicality of yoga<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-196\" src=\"http:\/\/12yogaquestions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/cody-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"374\" \/>How about now: does yoga feed your mind or your body or your spirit more, or are those elements more in balance than when you started?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>hot yoga is my favorite way to bring out the leanest version of my physique \u2014 I also feel a greater connection to my inner rhythm<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>How long have you been practicing yoga?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>since 2014<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>How frequently do you practice yoga?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>I do my own at-home flow daily, and I try to attend studio classes 3 times per week<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>What are the benefits of classes at a studio vs practicing yoga at home?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>the therapeutic benefits of yoga are more present during an at-home practice \u2014 the physical benefits are more present during an in-studio class<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Do you have a preferred yoga style?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Vinyasa<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>When you were starting out, what came easiest and what was more challenging?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>at first, the most challenging aspect was quieting my mind \u2014 the postures came easier for me<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What have been the greatest benefits of yoga for you?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>for me, a consistent yoga practice brings wonderful peace of mind and increased flexibility \u2014 both of which contribute to greater performance during strength-training workouts too<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Do you regularly do other forms of exercise?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>yes, I lift weights 5 days per week \u2014 I also swim and take walks for leisure purposes<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>You have a choice between a yoga class (1) outdoors on a beautiful day, overlooking the ocean, or (2) in a well-designed, very comfortable minimalist indoor space. Which do you pick?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>a class overlooking the ocean would be beautiful!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Outside of a yoga session, do you ever just strike a pose and stretch?
