Explore your true, spiritual nature?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>body \u2014 my first classes were at a Crunch Fitness<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-134 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/12yogaquestions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/barber-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/>How about now: does yoga feed your mind or your body or your spirit more, or are those elements more in balance than when you started?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>things are generally more in balance \u2014 but there&#8217;s an ebb and a flow there<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>How long have you been practicing yoga?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>off and on for more than ten years<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>How frequently do you practice yoga?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>I aim for three times a week but sometimes life (namely, my small kids) gets in the way<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>What are the benefits of classes at a studio vs practicing yoga at home?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>I love the community of a yoga studio \u2014 and I find that I challenge myself more in a classroom setting<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Do you have a preferred yoga style?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Vinyasa, although I did my teacher training in Hatha<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>When you were starting out, what came easiest and what was more challenging?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>the mind-body connection was most difficult for me at the start \u2014 I could move my body in the right shapes but didn&#8217;t feel it<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>What have been the greatest benefits of yoga for you?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>everything! when I practice regularly, my entire body just works better<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apart from yoga, do you practice other techniques of mindfulness or meditation?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>occasionally I try meditation but it never sticks<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Do you regularly do other forms of exercise?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>running<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Outside of a yoga session, do you ever just strike a pose and stretch? If so, which pose(s) and where?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>yes!
