That is, were you seeking to settle your mind? Have greater physical flexibility? Explore your spiritual nature?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>I wanted to feel grounded, more settled<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-121\" src=\"http:\/\/12yogaquestions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/lowitz-376x1024.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"817\" \/>How about now: does yoga feed your mind or your body or your spirit more, or are those elements more in balance than when you started?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>it always helps me come home to myself<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>How frequently do you practice Asana yoga?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>about twice a week<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>And heart yoga?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>daily<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re not leading a session with others, are you more likely to attend classes at a studio or practice yoga at home?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>home<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Do you have a preferred yoga style?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>hatha\/restorative\/yin<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>When you were starting out, what came easiest and what was more challenging?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>it was challenging to let go of perfectionism, some idea of what a pose should look like \u2014 now I just feel, breathe, and enjoy<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>What have been the greatest benefits of yoga for you?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>self-love, compassion<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Apart from yoga, do you practice other techniques of mindfulness or meditation?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>yoga is a state of being in union with yourself and the universal energy flow \u2014 yoga is every breath<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Do you regularly do other forms of exercise?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>mostly walking in nature \u2014 walking meditation<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Outside of a yoga session, do you ever just assume a pose and stretch?
