That is, were you seeking to settle your mind? Have greater physical flexibility? Explore your true, spiritual nature?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>it was\u2014and remains\u2014the only form of physical exercise I can consistently get myself to do<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-140\" src=\"http:\/\/12yogaquestions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/foxen2-1-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" \/>How about now: does yoga feed your mind or your body or your spirit more, or are those elements more in balance than when you started?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>it\u2019s balanced pretty evenly amongst all three now<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How long have you been practicing yoga?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>18 years<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>How frequently do you practice yoga?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>I aim for 5 days a week<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Are you more likely to attend classes at a studio or practice yoga at home?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>definitely studio<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Do you have a preferred yoga style?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Hot Vinyasa<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>When you were starting out, what came easiest and what was more challenging?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>it\u2019s been a while, so my memory is a little fuzzy \u2014 I\u2019m going to say: getting into some version of the posture came easiest, the breathing was harder \u2014 that hasn\u2019t changed much<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>What have been the greatest benefits of yoga for you?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>it keeps me sane(ish)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Apart from yoga, do you practice other techniques of mindfulness or meditation?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>very sporadically, I\u2019ll try to sit in meditation, but I\u2019m awful at it \u2014 movement makes focusing easier for me<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Do you regularly do other forms of exercise?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>I started running during the pandemic, but that\u2019s kind of lapsed now<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Outside of a yoga session, do you ever just assume a pose and stretch?
